About Luebbert Psychiatric Services

Compassionate, Patient-Centered Mental Health Care in Omaha

Focused Care For The Mind & A Heart For The Journey

At Luebbert Psychiatric Services, we believe mental health care should be personal, accessible, and grounded in compassion. Founded by  Meghan Luebbert DNP, PMHNP-BC, PMH-C, our practice serves adults and teens with a wide range of mental health needs — from psychotic disorders to perinatal and postpartum care.

Our Mission:

At Luebbert Psychiatric Services, our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care that honors the unique needs and experiences of each individual and family. We are dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where patients feel seen, heard, and empowered on their journey toward healing.

Rooted in clinical expertise and a deep commitment to advocacy, we strive to advance access to quality mental health care across the lifespan, with a special focus on perinatal mental health. Through leadership, education, and community engagement, we work to reduce stigma, strengthen awareness, and foster resilience in the lives of those we serve.

Our Vision:

Luebbert Psychiatric Services envisions a community where mental health care is accessible, personalized, and free of stigma. We strive to be a leader in advancing psychiatric practice through compassionate treatment, perinatal mental health advocacy, and professional education.

By fostering collaboration, empowering patients, and engaging in meaningful policy and community initiatives, we aim to create lasting change in how mental health is understood and supported—locally and beyond.

Meet Meghan Luebbert, DNP, PMHNP-BC, PMH-C

Meghan Luebbert received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with additional certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). Her training and experience allow her to combine medical expertise with compassionate care, helping individuals feel supported and understood throughout their mental health journey.

Meghan has had the privilege of working with people across the lifespan, from those navigating common challenges like anxiety and depression to those living with more complex or persistent mental health conditions. These experiences have shaped her belief that everyone deserves care that is respectful, collaborative, and tailored to their unique needs.

She has a special passion for perinatal mental health—supporting parents during pregnancy and the postpartum period. As the Climb Chair for Postpartum Support International – Nebraska, she has led the state’s Climb Out of the Darkness event for the past two years, bringing families and communities together to raise awareness and offer hope.

Beyond her clinical practice, Meghan is deeply committed to advocacy and education. She has worked with the Maternal Mental Health Leadership Alliance, meeting with leaders such as Senator Deb Fischer and Congressman Don Bacon to advocate for better maternal mental health care. She also serves as adjunct faculty at Creighton University College of Nursing, where she enjoys mentoring the next generation of nurses, and she contributes to the profession nationally through her role on the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) board.

At the heart of everything she does—whether caring for patients, teaching, or advocating—Meghan strives to create a space where people feel seen, valued, and empowered to take the next step toward healing.

Focused on Accessibility & Connection

Meghan understands that life is busy and mental health support needs to be flexible. That’s why Luebbert Psychiatric Services offers both in-person sessions and secure telehealth appointments — so patients can choose the setting that works best for them. She also accepts all major insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare, ensuring care is available to as many people as possible.

Our Philosophy

Mental health care is not one-size-fits-all. At Luebbert Psychiatric Services, treatment is tailored to each individual, balancing medical insight with an understanding of personal goals, values, and lifestyle. The goal is not only symptom relief but long-term well-being.
